Ethical Situation

I recently went to purchase some items at CVS. When I was finished with my purchase, I walked out to my car and looked at my receipt. I noticed that one of the items was not on the receipt, but in the bag. I said to myself that, I need to go back in there and tell the cashier that he didn't scan one of the items. When I went back into the store to tell the cashier what had happened, he was so surprised that I came back in and thanked me. He actually gave me a discount on what I purchased. So, it does pay to be honest.

Biggest Stressors

1, Juggling helping family members.
2. Making time for grandchildren.
3. Making time for school work.
4. Making time for church.

I have strategically worked out schedules with everyone involved who are in need of my help. I have scheduled my studying in such a way, that i also have me time. I make sure i take breaks and rest my mind. I try to get proper rest and sleep. I do not let other peoples expectations of me determine my well being. I first and foremost have faith in god and put my trust in him. Philippians 4:13. 

Goals

1. I am working toward finishing college.
2. I am working toward obtaining a good job.
3. I am working toward better health.
4. I am working on more effective communication.

I believe this because we have all walked different paths and have experienced different things and bringing this to a teamwork table will strengthen it . When we put these all together it "Builds" instead of
"Tears Down".

This chapter has helped me recognize that i need to strengthen my "Networking Skills" and it also brought to my attention, that i need to get involved in "Professional Organizations" and going to seminars to enhance my skills would also benefit me as well. This has helped me to look out side the box!
